About the Flag

GBH (Gewerkschaft Bau und Holz)
SBB (Syndicat du bâtiment et du bois)
SEL (Sindacato edilizia e legno)
(= Trade Union Construction and Wood)

formerly (1922-1974)
SBHV (Schweizerischer Bau- und Holzarbeiterverband)
FOBB (Fédération suisse des ouvriers du bois et du bâtiment)
FLEL (Federazione svizzera dei lavoratori edili e del legno)
(= Swiss Union of Construction and Wood Workers)

The GBH/SBB/SEL was founded as SBHV/FOBB/FLEL in 1922 and changed the name to GBH/SBB/SEL in 1974. It merged with the GTCP in 1993 to form the GBI/SIB/SEI. It was active in construction and wood industries.

One pre-1974 flag was simply the abbreviations in the three languages in white on a red field [1].

Another one was a pennant, red with Swiss cross and the union abbreviations [2].

After 1974, the youth organization used a red pennant with the abbreviations (plus "Jeunesse/Jugend/Giovani) and a circular logo (stylized workbench) [3].
